There is a strange moment at the end of the day when nothing dramatic is happening, but everything feels heavy. The work is done, the phone is still in your hand, the traffic is barely moving, and your brain is begging for a little peace. But most of us do not choose peace. We choose noise. A podcast. A playlist. A short video. A notification. Anything that keeps the mind from landing too hard on itself. That is the part nobody likes to admit. Modern people are not only tired. We are afraid of the empty space that appears when the screen goes dark and the earbuds come out.
