Harry Belafonte a adormit în timpul unei emisiuni live

Cantaretul si actorul Harry Belafonte, in varsta de 84 de ani, a adormit in timp ce astepta debutul interviului pe care urma sa-l acorde postului de televiziune KBAK din orasul californian Bakersfield, in cadrul turneului de promovare a volumului sau de memorii, intitulat "My Song".

"Hei, buna dimineata, Harry!", l-a salutat prezentatoarea TV Layla Santiago. "Trezeste-te, trezeste-te! Acesta este semnalul tau de trezire! Ok, sa va spun ceva: el acum mediteaza. De fapt, trage un pui de somn", a adaugat prezentatoarea americana, potrivit hollywoodreporter-com.
Layla Santiago a fredonat apoi cateva versuri dintr-o piesa celebra a cantaretului Harry Belafonte, incercand astfel sa il trezeasca. Fara succes insa.

"Dupa cateva saptamani in care a acordat sute de interviuri pentru a-si promova documentarul produs de HBO, volumul de memorii si un nou CD, Harry Belafonte urma sa acorde un interviu prin satelit, vinerea trecuta, la o ora foarte matinala. Cum era de asteptat, a existat o defectiune tehnica a transmisiei asigurate de un post local din Bakersfield. Casca lui nu functiona, iar el a decis sa isi acorde cateva momente pentru a medita", a declarat Ken Sunshine, purtatorul de cuvant al artistului, intr-un comunicat.



"Harry Belafonte este un tanar de 84 de ani, insa are o minte mai ascutita si este mult mai treaz decat multi dintre cei care l-au intervievat. Poate ca lumea ar fi un loc mai bun daca mai multi oameni si-ar acorda un moment pentru a medita", se afirma in acelasi comunicat.
Belafonte este interpretul celebrei piese "The Banana Boat Song", care a ramas in memoria publicului gratie versului "Day-O" din refren.

Ardeleanul şi porcul

Într-o zi de luni, un ardelean merge cu porcul în târg pentru a-l vinde. La un moment dat se apropie un domn mai bine îmbrăcat, la costum, cravata... şi-i spune omului: – De vânzare porcu’? – De vânzare! – Da’... ce porc fain! – Da, e fain! – Dar ce-i daţi să mănânce? – Păi... resturi... ce rămâne de la noi dăm la porc. – În cazul ăsta, daţi-mi voie să mă legitimez: sunt de la Protecţia Consumatorului. Cum puteţi să-i daţi porcului să mănânce resturi? Dacă se îmbolnăvesc consumatorii? Un milion de lei amendă! A doua săptămână, iar vine ardeleanul cu porcul în târg.
